While looking through the data captured of NGC 5921, I discovered a very dim object slowly moving through the field of view. The object has been identified as main belt asteroid 2000 AJ129, magnitude 15.

The large and bright Bubble Galaxy, or NGC 3521, is located in the Leo constellation, which is quite north in the sky for my location. Upon seeing a fantastic test exposure, I could not leave this galaxy alone.

The Gabriela Mistral Nebula lies close to the Carina Nebula ~7500 light years distant in the far-southern sky. This image is a narrowband representation showing glowing ionised gasses, Hydrogen-alpha (orange), Sulfur-II (red), and Oxygen-III (blue).

The Rosette Nebula is an emission nebula 3000 light years away. The central area of the nebula contains an open cluster of hot, blue stars which have cleared much of the center of its gas.

50 million light years away, NGC 1532 is slowly devouring one of its companion dwarf galaxies, NGC 1531. Large tidal tails from NGC 1532 are thrown outwards as the two galaxies interact. A number of other dwarf companion galaxies are also visible in the frame.

NGC 1360 is known as the Robin's Egg Nebula, primarily due to its blue hue from strong oxygen-III emissions. It is a diffuse planetary nebula 1794 light years away. Presented is a narrowband image with H-alpha emissions mapped to red, and OIII emissions mapped to both green and blue (HOO palette).

NGC 300 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Sculptor. It is one of the closest galaxies to the Local Group at 6 million light years distance.

The Grus-Quartet consists of four large spiral galaxies, between 63 and 99 million light years away, which are so close to each other that they are interacting.

Sh2-37 is a hydrogen emission nebula with two small blue reflection nebulae, embedded in a dusty background against the core of the Milky Way.

NGC2835 is a small, faint spiral galaxy in the Hydra constellation. It was probably too small and faint to attempt from the suburbs of Brisbane, but I persisted through the very few clear nights I could get over the last 6 weeks.

Omega Centauri (NGC 5139) is the largest globular cluster in the Milky Way at a diameter of roughly 150 light-years. It is estimated to contain approximately 10 million stars.

NGC 2736, known as the Pencil Nebula is a part of the supernova remnants from the Vela pulsar, 815 light years away.

I've already done the Helix Nebula in natural colour, so I've imaged it again in narrowband. Lots of H-alpha and Oxygen-III, but barely any Sulfur-II.

Next to the Lagoon Nebula, there lies the often overlooked collection of absorption, reflection and emission nebulae: NGC 6559, IC 1274, IC 1275, IC 4684, IC 4685, Barnard 303, LDN 227, LDN 213, and planetary nebula PN M 1-41.

The Eagle Nebula is located 7000 light years away and is home to the famous "Pillars of Creation", shown in the centre of this image. This photograph is presented in the Hubble narrowband palette, which shows the distrubution of Hydrogen (green), Oxygen (blue), and Sulfur (red) gasses.
